ISRAEL EARTH PRIZE by Union & Toyota is open for applications for the third time.

We invite entrepreneurs, NGOs and companies to apply and join our efforts to promote excellence and environmental responsibility.

The winning proposal will receive a 1 Million NIS endowment.

As part of the LET'S GO BEYOND vision of Union Motors and Toyota, starting in the summer of 2022, for 5 years we are inviting organizations, communities, and individuals promoting environmental action and operating with environmental responsibility to submit their candidacy for the competition and vie for our support. Over 350 organizations, communities, and startups advancing meaningful environmental action have competed for this prestigious prize in the past two years. The submissions were evaluated by an independent, dedicated professional judging committee that selected the finalists each year.

The 2023 prize, worth one million shekels, was awarded to the "Friends for Health" association, which delivers unused but still viable medications monthly to around 7,000 patients in need, free of charge. Every year, medications worth over 500 million shekels are discarded into sewers or trash. Thanks to this initiative, medications that could become polluting waste help patients and save lives, while unsuitable medications are properly disposed of in an eco-friendly manner.

The 2022 one million shekel prize was awarded to the "Venatata" association for the "Project 100" - establishing 100 therapeutic gardens in 100 rehabilitation institutions in Israel, serving the elderly, Holocaust survivors, victims of sexual assault, combat veterans, people with disabilities, at-risk youth, mental health patients, and others.

Every year for the coming two, our competition will return. All in all, Union will grant 5 Million NIS to socially beneficial environmental initiatives in Israel.
